Kilby get to know your neighbours

The annual quiz night was held at the home of John and Anne Emery in Kilby on Friday night, 10 June. Twenty people took part and we were very pleased to welcome newcomers to the village.
A raffle was held, this time in memory of Ruth Mays, Ruth, a highly respected resident of Great Glen, was very involved with Guide Dogs for the Blind; in fact she had visited Kilby and given a talk all about the dogs, one of which she brought along with her. The raffle raised £57.
This year’s winners were Sue and Dave and Richard and Denise. Thanks go to Iain Bell for organising the quiz and to Denise Bell and Kathy Kilsby for organising the food – it was lovely to see the villagers getting together after two years of Covid.
