Traffic Island
Whose idea was it to turf the roundabout in Kibworth Beauchamp? Yes, the island was overgrown but now we have a boring barren green desert. And so the road has to be closed to allow a gardener to lift their mower up onto the wall to access the grass. And what if the mower or worker fall off the island into traffic. There are so many simple low maintenance planting schemes that could provide joy to all passing by. Very weak response to one of our village landmarks.
