Replacement Bridge
Thank you for contacting us about the bridge replacement at Kibworth Grammar School.
I can confirm that the temporary bridge opened on 16 October and although it was closed last weekend (21-23 October) while we were demolishing the old bridge it re-opened again on 23 October. There may be a few additional weekends of working where the temporary bridge will need to close but for the most part the temporary bridge will remain open now until March 2024 when the new bridge should be open..

We are currently seeking permission to use the temporary bridge walls for a photographic exhibition space in the spring of 2024. More about this venture in a future Chronicle.
