Kibworth Golf Club – January 2024
New Year, New Course!
With the deluge of rain recently, our course has not only been closed, but for a short time resembled a boating lake rather than a golf course. The clubhouse has remained open throughout, and members have been spending an hour or two with a drink in hand longingly looking at the course from the windows.
The club AGM is imminent and as new officers are elected, along come new ideas and new energy creating an ever-changing club whilst keeping an element of tradition.
The 2023 Captains are proud to announce that in excess of £5k has been raised for their charity, GEMS, this year. The last fundraising event for this is hosted by Cuisine of India in Wigston on Monday 29 January at 7pm. Tickets are available at £20 from KGC for a three-course Indian buffet. Why not organise a group of friends, buy some tickets, have a great night, and support your local charity at the same time. See you there!
