Kibworth Church of England Primary School is extremely pleased with their recent Ofsted inspection, which has resulted in an ‘Outstanding’ grade across all five areas of the inspection.
The Overall Effectiveness outcome has been deemed Outstanding, marking a remarkable achievement that the entire school community is immensely proud of.
The November 2023 Ofsted report identifies an exceptional education provided at Kibworth CE Primary School. Ofsted says pupils receive an education of the highest quality, drawing praise from both students and their parents. The report also details that staff are aware of the unique environment they work in and take immense pride in being part of such a wonderful school community.
The school is particularly pleased to see the report recognise that behaviour at the school is exemplary, with pupils displaying impeccable conduct. Furthermore, pupils make highly positive contributions to the wider life of the school, creating a vibrant and supportive community. The report also highlights the range of opportunities for pupils to develop their talents and interests.
The Early Years education and provision was particularly commended, identifying that children are provided with a solid foundation for future learning. The inspectors said the curriculum is expertly planned, ensuring that children seamlessly transition into Year 1 with confidence and readiness.
Reading was also documented as a particular strength by the inspectors.
They said the expertise of teachers in early reading translates into children becoming fluent readers at an impressive pace. Older pupils continue to cultivate a love for reading, fostering a lifelong passion for literature.
The inspection team found that the school’s curriculum is ambitious and well-rounded, ensuring that pupils gain both knowledge and skills that will set them up for success in their educational journey. Teachers, who are subject experts, skillfully match activities and resources to the curriculum, bringing learning to life for their pupils.
The inspectors went onto say that the school prides itself on being inclusive and fosters inclusivity in its pupils. This dedication to creating a nurturing and accepting environment ensures the school is a truly remarkable provision.
Nikki Matthew, the Headteacher of Kibworth CE Primary School, expressed her gratitude to the staff and pupils for their unwavering commitment to excellence. “The staff’s hard work has undoubtedly contributed significantly to the wonderful outcome of this inspection, including all those that have been a part of the school’s journey since the last inspection in 2010. The children are an absolute credit to the school and were so confident to share with the inspectors everything that is on offer to them.”
We are pleased that Ofsted has recognised the wonderful provision the school offers. As the local community celebrates this achievement, Kibworth CE Primary School remains committed to providing exceptional education and ensuring that every child receives the opportunity to thrive.
