The Welcome Kitchen & Platform Housing
In December The Welcome Kitchen was delighted to receive a cheque from Platform Housing Group for £320. The money was greatly appreciated as it covered the Kibworth Community Hub hall rental for the eight weeks running up to Christmas. A very welcome boost to our funds.
The Welcome Kitchen is also lucky enough to receive sponsorship from Marks and Spencers Oadby, who make weekly donations of flowers, bread, cakes and biscuits.
The Welcome Kitchen is back again throughout January and February on a Monday, 12-2pm. We serve a delicious bowl of soup with bread, tea, coffee and cake. If anyone would like to join us on a Monday you will be made most WELCOME.
Many visitors to the Welcome Kitchen are lucky enough to take home the ‘leftover’ loaves of bread, flowers and cakes at the end of each session.
