Last Minute Theatre – February 2024
Congratulations to all of the cast and crew on the massive success of our annual Pantomime, Dick Whittington, with particular thanks to Nicole Lambert who this year, made her Directorial Debut!
We performed to well over 500 people and had many groups in our audiences this year ranging from the very young to our ‘more mature’ friends, all of whom we welcomed with complimentary drinks and snacks.
There were many comments relating to the high standard of acting and singing coming from our young principals, all supported by our long-standing and extremely talented experienced members of the cast. Of course, our very squeaky and scuttling little rats who sang, danced and acted their whiskers off (to the delight of King Rat) also had the audience hissing and booing.
Comments made to our ‘lighting man’ were, to quote, “truly excellent” and “splendid” and I think that summed up the Pantomime perfectly.
Here’s to next year when Last Minute Theatre celebrates their Silver Anniversary and 25 years of ‘treading the boards’ of the Kibworth Grammar School Hall stage!
