The Well – Automatic External Defibrillator
We’d like to let the good folk know that we have purchased and installed an Automatic External Defibrillator here at The Well.
It’s been registered on ‘The Circuit’. This is the national defibrillator network, that provides the NHS ambulance services with vital information about defibrillators across the UK. In those crucial moments after a cardiac arrest, they can be accessed quickly to help save lives.
Each year over 30,000 people have an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest in the UK, with less than one in ten surviving. Giving CPR and using a defibrillator can more than double someone’s chance of survival (British Heart Foundation).
So, ours will be available to the public during our normal opening hours.
