Foxton Society Events
The Picnic in the Park was enjoyed enormously by all who attended. The bouncy slide was enjoyed by young and old and despite it being a little chilly, at least it didn’t rain this year. The candyfloss stall was kept very busy and children’s races, dog agility and the Tug of War were great fun.
Unfortunately, attendance was not as good as it has been in the past and the events group will be considering whether to run this event next year.
Upcoming events for the Autumn include
a return of the Village ‘Soup and a Roll’ lunches. These will now be held on the last Wednesday of the month from October, except in December.

We are also hosting a new event – Wine Tasting. This will be held in the Robert Monk Hall on Saturday, 16 November. Please put the date in your diaries. Further details will be available closer to the time on the village Facebook, website and WhatsApp and posters round the village.
