Farndon Fields Pumpkin Festival 2024
The much-loved family-run Farndon Fields Farm Shop in Market Harborough has been growing and selling pumpkins since the early 1990s and has recently opened the farm for visitors to come and ‘pick their own’ during pumpkin season.
This year marks the fifth annual Pumpkin Festival event held on the farm at Farndon Fields which has become one of the largest and most-visited pumpkin attractions in the area. The farm has grown over 40,000 pumpkins and squashes in all shapes sizes and colours and provides a fleet of wheelbarrows for pumpkin pickers to explore the patch with.
The event also features a food and drink area with picnic benches and straw bales where visitors can relax and enjoy a freshly made thin crust pizza, breakfast baps, hot chocolates, or pumpkin spiced lattes.
There’s also face painting and crafting for the kids, welly wanging games, and plenty of photo opportunities around the field.
The pumpkin patch is a short distance from the award-winning farm shop where there are even more homegrown and foodie delights to be discovered, and afternoon tea and cakes at The Farmer’s Kitchen completes a wholesome autumnal family day out.
The event opens from Saturday 12 October and runs until Thursday 31 October. Single tickets are £3.50 each and under 3s go free. Group tickets (4 people) are available for a discounted rate of £3 per person.
Tickets are available online at www.farndonfields.co.uk or via Instagram and Facebook @FarndonFields
