Thank you.
The letter I sent to the community newspaper has resulted in responses that have given me so much joy, and have answered the questions I have had for some years now. I would like to thank firstly Kibworth Community Library for suggesting I write to the Kibworth and District Chronicle, and Stephen, the editor who published my letter. Also to Ros Ousey who was also very helpful.

Editor’s Note. I can advise readers that following the publication of Margaret’s letter, and two photographs in last month’s issue, two people sent emails separately for me to forward on to Margaret. Both email senders were clearly knowledgeable of Margaret’s position. It is heartwarming to know such a small item in a very provincial community newspaper could bring together old friends and relatives.
