* Up to issue 117 editions were called The Kibworth Chronicle
* From issue 118 we have been called The Kibworth and District Chronicle
Your Kibworth and District Chronicle is an organic document recording the lives and times of people and places in South Leicestershire. It can be referred to years after an event, unlike the social media platforms which change every moment. If you want something recording for posterity then The Kibworth & District Chronicle may be your answer.
Obviously we try to be up to date but much of what is printed and published online (www.kibworthchronicle.com) will have already taken place or is about to take place.
Bound copies
One of the more joyful tasks this summer was to take the library copies of The Kibworth & District Chronicle numbered 401 through to 450 to our bookbinders for binding into a permanent book which will be found in Kibworth Community Library.
All back issues are available in the library. You will need to ask at the desk to see them.
The bookbinders in question are the Syston Bookbinding Co owned and run by a certain Paul Dodge who made his name in the period 1975 – 1991 as a Rugby Union footballer playing for England and Leicester Tigers playing alongside Sir Clive Woodward.
