Illston-on-the-Hill WI – Dec ’24
Illston-on-the-Hill WI held their AGM in November. The meeting was conducted efficiently and all business was dealt with in a timely manner.
The Financial Report was presented and approved by all members. The Secretary’s Report was also reviewed and approved, providing an overview of the year’s activities and achievements. The President confirmed all current committee members were happy to continue their roles for the coming year. A warm welcome was extended to Chris Hartshorn who was invited to join the committee.
Once the official business was concluded, members enjoyed a lovely meal prepared and provided by members. The dining table was beautifully decorated creating a warm and welcoming feeling.
A special thanks was given to all members for their help during the course of the evening. It was a perfect reminder of the wonderful group of ladies who make up Illston-on-the-Hill WI.
Overall, it was a memorable and enjoyable evening that reflected the spirit of our group. We look forward to another year of friendship, learning and community.
We will be making decorations for the Christmas table at our final meeting of the year and our programme for 2025 will be issued.
