Kibworth Harcourt Post Mill Christmas Lights
Volunteers at the mill, ably assisted by staff from the SPAB who own the mill, had an enjoyable morning getting into the festive spirit whilst affixing colourful new Christmas lights to the sails. The bright lights were kindly donated by Steven Briggs of the Windmill Farm Park, and can be seen from as far afield as Gumley Top!
The mill will next be open to the public on the weekend of 10/11 May as part of National Mills Weekend, but visits by organized groups can be arranged at other times by emailing kibworthmill@spab.org.uk.
If you would like to learn more about joining the team of volunteers at the mill, please use the same email address and we can let you know what it involves. As well as running open days and visits we turn the sails on a regular basis and undertake basic maintenance as required, and you would be very welcome to join us.
