Could you become one of our volunteer drivers?
The VASL Car Scheme has been operating since 1987 in Market Harborough and covers two-thirds of Harborough District. The scheme is for anyone who is elderly, disabled, rurally isolated, has no transport of their own or has difficulty accessing public transport. Due to a shortage of drivers, we are prioritising health and hospital appointments.
We have over 220 clients residing in Kibworth and only one volunteer driver, so we urgently need more in this area. Could you be one of them?
Our volunteer drivers use their own vehicles and are re-imbursed their expenses, they can offer as much or as little time as they like, there’s no pressure to commit.
