Stance Analysis
Ash Tree Vets offers free ‘Stance Slots’ in our Physiotherapy Room in Kibworth on the third Tuesday of every month from 5.30 – 6.10pm. This opportunity lets you measure your pet’s static weight bearing. Sessions are for dogs and cats over 4kgs. Contact our reception at (0116) 2793054 to book.
A Stance Analyser or Pressure Plate measures static weight bearing. Our vet physiotherapist, Sophie, explains the findings and discusses treatment options. Data is emailed and saved in your pet’s medical history. The analyser helps identify subtle changes in weight bearing, potentially indicating an early injury or musculoskeletal problem. For dogs with known musculoskeletal disease, it helps identify affected limbs and weight shifts.

Private Bereavement Room
It’s hard to imagine a time when our pets need help to pass away peacefully. We understand the importance of this moment. At Kibworth, we have a ‘Bereavement Room’ with soft furnishings and direct access to the car park. This creates a calmer and more intimate environment for you to say goodbye to your pet with dignity. We’ll make your final goodbye personal. You can play soothing music, bring your pet’s favourite toy, or have more than one person present.
