Foxton Community Choir – 2024 Autumn Winter Season
A Season of Celebration and a New Year of Renewal
The Foxton Community Choir has experienced a remarkable autumn-winter season. We extend our sincere gratitude to all who attended our sold-out “Christmas Sparkle” concert on Friday 13 December. The evening was filled with festive cheer, joyful music, and the quintessential sense of community that distinguishes our choir.
We were also honoured to perform for the residents of Welland Place this December. Our debut concert was a resounding success, and we have already been invited to return and share our summer repertoire, an event we eagerly anticipate.
In November, we hosted our inaugural fundraising quiz night, which proved to be a resounding triumph. Not only did it provide an enjoyable evening of socializing with friends and family, but it also raised substantial funds to support our membership fees, assist local charities such as St. Andrew’s Church, and cover the choir’s ongoing expenses.
As we embark on 2025, we invite you to explore the joy of singing with us. We commence the new year with a “Taster Evening” on Thursday 19 January, at 7:30pm in St. Andrew’s Church.
Whether you possess prior singing experience or simply enjoy belting out tunes in the privacy of your own home, we would be delighted to welcome you to our choir. Auditions are not required, and our affordable weekly subscriptions (less than £4) provide an accessible and enjoyable means of meeting new individuals and fostering a sense of community.
