Happy New Year! We hope you had a nice Christmas.
Christmas Day Get Together
On Christmas Day morning, we opened the doors of our café for a couple of hours. It was the third year running we’d invited the local community to come and join us for a free bacon bap, mince pie, hot drink and some festive treats. However, the best thing we had on offer that morning was a warm and friendly welcome. We wanted to make sure that those that otherwise might not have seen anyone on Christmas Day had somewhere to go to enjoy some chat and even make new friends, but everyone was welcome, and we had a lovely mixed bag of people coming along. In fact, we had over 40 people altogether and we ran out of chairs at one point! It was honestly a
joyous way to start Christmas and seeing people that had never met chatting away like old friends was heart warming to see.
