First the good news.
The front of Smeeton Westerby Village Hall forecourt has recently been re-laid. Although there is parking for only two vehicles it does look very good. Note, in our picture, the defibrillator is also available.

Traffic signs – could do better?
Kibworth has been festooned with traffic signs which appeared between Christmas and New Year. Giving advance warning of prospective road closures is to be welcomed. However, sometimes the Highway authorities closing two main roads at the same time can be very frustrating. Here are two signs, both photographed on New Years Day. The yellow signs together are very confusing and do not say why.
