Spring is just around the corner…
One of the most rewarding pastimes is a short amble around a nearby local village. Looking at the various architectural buildings and admiring peoples’ front gardens etc. Luckily for us Harborough have a number of leaflets available which will guide one to see unusual or interesting features that the passing viewer might not notice straightaway.
Our pictures shows several such Heritage leaflets that were reprinted back in 2021 for some of our local villages. There are more leaflets including one for Kibworth Beauchamp, one for Kibworth Harcourt and one for Smeeton Westerby. If you are able we would recommend an afternoon’s wander followed by a lovely cup of tea/ pint of beer at the local hostelry (if there is one). These leaflets were picked up in Harborough indoor market hall near the entrance. They are also available in libraries.
