Kibworth Community Hub

New Entrance
Here is a photograph of the new entrance to Kibworth Community Hub, which is making life very much easier for our users. We are sure that readers will agree that the new entrance is a big improvement and, when we have our signage put up, we will no longer have people standing in the carpark asking where is the Community Hub/Grammar School Hall?
The two questions that we get most frequently asked are; When will the library move in? and What will happen to the old space? We cannot answer the second question, as that is up to the County Council, but we hope that the library will move in by the end of the year.
There are still some matters to be finalised however, so we will give a more thorough update soon.
We are pleased to announce that Line Dancing with Charlotte has begun on a Wednesday evening, with classes running at 6pm and 7.15pm. We are also welcoming Clubbercise, exercise to dance music, on Tuesdays at 7.30pm. Finally, we have Baby and Pre-school Art and Creative Play Classes starting on Wednesday 26 March between 9.00am – 1pm.
If you want further details, Kelly, our Hall Officer will be happy to help, just email info@kgsh.or.uk
On Wednesday 2 April Kibworth Community Library will be hosting a talk on Wildlife, and on Saturday 26 April, we welcome back the wrestling event which was very popular last year; we will be providing a licensed bar for this.
The Hub’s AGM will be held on Wednesday 26 March at 7.30pm, in the new library extension and all are welcome. We are also more than keen to welcome potential new trustees to The Hub, please contact me on 07914 264 965 if you would like to know what is involved.
