Kibworth Mead Academy Year 7 Visit to St Wilfrid’s Church
In February, we were delighted to welcome 150 students from Kibworth Mead Academy to St Wilfrid’s Church, where they were able to explore the building and talk to us about the Christian faith, and the many ways in which the church reaches out into the local community.
About a third of the students chose to write on prayer cards laid out for them which they then displayed on a prayer tree in the church.
These very successful visits were enjoyed greatly by the students and accompanying teachers, and it has been agreed by all that these visits should become an annual event for each year 7 group from the Academy. Thank you to everyone who attended and made this a very special event.
