Walking Hockey anyone?

Established in 1885 our club continues to thrive with a growing number of men, women and junior members.

We are Clubmark approved and are based at Leicester Grammar School in Great Glen.

We always welcome new players throughout the year, so come down and join us!

What is Walking Hockey?

Walking Hockey is perfect for anyone looking for a social and less physically demanding way to get active, no matter your age or skill level!

It’s a low-intensity activity that people can take at their own pace. Whether you’ve played before, or are picking up a stick for the first time, Walking Hockey is for you!

Why Join?

Experience the health benefits, meet new people, build confidence, and enjoy being part of a team sport. Walking Hockey is a fantastic way to socialise and stay active without the strain. There will be refreshments available after the activity.

Where & When?

Join us at Leicester Grammar School in Great Glen on Tuesday evening from 7-8pm. Come along and give it a go – your first session is completely free, with loan sticks available!

Faster-paced hockey

As well as offering walking hockey, we also provide weekly training for beginners, back-to-hockey adults and for players of all ages and levels of experience. For those who want to, we also offer competitive league hockey on a Saturday.
