Kibworth Parents Association
We would like to begin by again extending a huge thank you to everyone who donated preloved books for the World Book Day event. It was a massive success and the children adored selecting a book to keep. We look forward to repeating this next year as it was so wonderful.
Our Spring Disco at the start of April saw hundreds of children enjoying themselves on the dance floor with their friends, whilst also raising funds for the KPA. We’d like to thank the parent volunteers who helped on the night and especially the school staff who stepped up when volunteers were short and saved the event from being cancelled.
We want to say good luck to all parents awaiting primary school places for their children on National Offer Day: Wednesday 16 April.
For any new starters at Kibworth Primary, we will create a Facebook group for the year group on Offer Day. The group will be private due to the nature of discussions, but email us if you have any trouble joining.
It will be a great place to ask all those little questions before school begins, and to link up with other parents from your child’s class when they are shared later this term.
The volunteers at KPA have been busy creating a FREE Easter Trail for families around the village to enjoy over the Easter break. Can you help the Bunny Detective Dave by recovering the lost letters around the village and help him solve the crime? Details about the trail and the map of houses can be downloaded from our new website www.kpakibworth.org.uk. The trail runs until Sunday 27 April.
Finally we are pleased to formally announce our KPA Summer Fair on Friday 20 June, from 3.30-7pm at Kibworth Primary School.

To find opportunities to get involved we have a private Facebook group just for parents and carers which we’d love for you to join, or email kpakibworth@gmail.com.
