‘The Road to Calvary’
On 8 April, Kibworth Primary School’s Year 5 students visited St Wilfrid’s Church to experience ‘The Road to Calvary‘. They visited eight different ‘stations’, learning about the final days of Jesus’ life before his crucifixion on Good Friday, and resurrection on Easter Sunday. We are so fortunate to have a fantastic link with the school, holding events throughout the year in both the church and school. Our next one will be ‘Prayer Spaces‘ with Year 3 on Wednesday 8 May when the students will ‘Pause, Reflect, Ask, and Say Yes‘ through conversations, sharing and activities.
Lent Lunches
Many thanks to all who made soup, helped in any way or attended our Lent Lunches this year; we were delighted to send all the donations to Home-Start South Leicestershire, a voluntary organisation committed to promoting the welfare of families with young children.
Spring Fayre 26 April – save the date!
Our next Spring Fayre will be taking place on Saturday 26 April. Come and join us in the Church Hall for stalls, refreshments and kids’ activities from 11am until 2pm.
APC Meeting
Our Annual Parochial Church meeting takes place on Wednesday 14 May at 7.30pm in the Church Hall; anyone is welcome to attend.
