Rugby League and fundraising legend Kevin Sinfield CBE headed back to the Midlands on the penultimate leg of his latest challenge on Friday 6 December. Sinfield ran in memory of Rob Burrow, who passed away from Motor Neuron Disease (MND) in June this year. This will be Sinfield’s fifth annual challenge for the MND community. Kevin has raised nearly £10 million in the first four events.

Leicestershire Wildlife Hospital will be holding a table top sale on Saturday 11 January in Kibworth Village Hall LE8 0LN from 10am to 12.45.

On Saturday 30 November the wonderful Kibworth Ladies Choir did two excellent performances at the Kibworth Community Hub. They very kindly chose The Well to receive the proceeds, for which we are deeply thankful.

Gateley RJA, a specialist quantity surveying, employer’s agent, project management and clerk of works consultancy, based in Kibworth has held its annual charity quiz night and raffle.

Leicestershire Wildlife Hospital will be holding a Christmas table top sale on Saturday 14 December in Kibworth Village Hall, LE8 0LN, from 10am until 12.45pm.

Rotarian Robert Easthope gave a sigh of relief as the firework display ended on Friday 1 November. After last year’s cancellation and the difficulties encountered we changed our venue to higher ground. Robert Easthope, and his committee, were determined to run the event again. Fortunately it was a fine evening and around 1.500 folk arrived, sampling the hot food and drinks provided, before the display.

Our annual Christmas concert is now less than a month away, and we really are getting excited to perform for you on Saturday 30 November!

Players from Kibworth Cosmopolitan’s Rounders Team have raised more than £600 for Cancer Research UK.
