Come and celebrate with us! St Andrew’s has traditional services and events with all the trimmings. The church will be fully lit and decorated for the Christmas Tree Festival from Friday 12 December until Sunday 14 December.

Ludger’s final service at St Wilfrid’s Church took place on Advent Sunday, 30 November, when a full church had the opportunity to say farewell to him and Ruth. A shared lunch followed in the Church Hall, attended by about 100 people.

It’s all change this month in School Road, Kibworth. At one end we have the relocated Library in the Community Hub and at the other, the newly re-fitted Methodist Church. Come and try out our new chairs at one of our services.

St Wilfrid's Church would like to extend a huge ‘thank you’ to everyone who attended our Harvest Service on 28 September and 9.30 Express Family Harvest Festival on 5 October; it was wonderful to welcome so many people! We would also like to thank Kibworth Primary School, whose Harvest Service took place in the church on 29 September.

We will be taking delivery of new chairs for both Church and School Room around the end of October. Many of the old chairs will be available for anyone wishing to take away between one and 50. They are free of charge (although a nominal donation to the Methodist Relief Charity “All We Can” would be welcome). They consist of a varied mixture of upright hard plastic and upholstered chairs.

Thank you to the ‘Kibworth & District Chronicle’ for their generous grant. It has enabled us to make improvements to our patio area, and purchase new items such as storage for the children's toys. We are so grateful for this financial help which will benefit our children's groups and community.
