Mimo Moutinho Dao Encruzado 2021 (Aldi £7.49)

It’s been a steady December with runners taking part in winter races as well attending club runs – including a Christmas lights tour of Leicester city!

Since the Kibworth Tip closed in November 2021, contractors Willmott Dixon, working on behalf of LCC, have been busy redeveloping the site and transforming it into the new facility that we will soon be able to use. Back in June they reached out to share with us what they were doing, inviting the cubs and scouts to the site to take a look at what was going on and learn about construction methods and waste recycling plans.

The Great Glen Gardening Club will next meet on Thursday 2 February, at 2.30pm in Great Glen Methodist Chapel Hall.

As the current Captains approach their last few weeks of office, the Vice Captains are preparing for the Captains Drive-in. This takes place on Sunday 12th February.

Our members have just returned from a weekend away at Potters Resort, Hopton-on-Sea. The venue for the World Indoor Bowls Championships. We greatly enjoyed being spectators at the bowls matches. We were also able to partake in many other activities including snooker, golf, quizzes, line dancing and even Morris dancing. The evening entertainment was first class and the food (too) plentiful! I put on 4lb over the 3 days!
