The Club will hold its first meeting of 2023 on Thursday 12 January at 2.30pm (doors open 2.15pm) in the Methodist Chapel Hall. It will consist of the Annual General Meeting, a short slide show of the three 2022 trips and the annual show, followed by a talk by Gary Little, ‘A Taste of the Exotic’.

If you’d like to have a go at this all-weather indoor sport, the Fleckney Spinners Table Tennis Club has weekly sessions on Saturdays 11.15am to 12.45pm with (optional) coaching on 17 December and 7 and 21 January.

On 22 November, the Kibworth Art Lovers were treated to a demonstration by Andrew Geeson, professional artist of over 20 years. Andrew takes tutorials and has produced books and videos sharing his passion for the loose watercolours technique which promotes a more light-hearted approach to painting.

On 10th November we held our Annual General Meeting. Especially important this year because Hazel Taylor, our President for the past ten years, was standing down.

Illston on the Hill WI had their AGM in November.

On Saturday 19 November Leicester and District Ramblers held their AGM at Newtown Linford, this occasion was all the more auspicious as several key committee members were standing down!

LaST MiNuTe THeATRe

On a cold afternoon members of the local u3a walking tennis group enjoyed an hour of warming tennis followed by mince pies, shortbread and mulled wine.

Kibworth Rambling Group rounded off yet another successful year of excellent and varied walks with their annual Christmas lunch. Over sixty members of their membership, of almost a hundred, sat down at Kilworth Springs golf club for a delicious festive meal.
