It may be worthwhile to consider adopting this idea in Kibworth.

At the end of last month there was a well-attended talk by Jane MacDonald and Marie-Anne Beere (both volunteers with CRT)) in Kibworth Community Library as part of a series of talks in the ‘History Season.’

‘We Are Kibworth’ are planning a number of activities over the Easter period for you and your families to get involved in: we will be running an Easter colouring competition; an Easter Egg Hunt and a Decorate Your Own Egg competition.  

Here is a photograph of the new entrance to Kibworth Community Hub, which is making life very much easier for our users. We are sure that readers will agree that the new entrance is a big improvement and, when we have our signage put up, we will no longer have people standing in the carpark asking where is the Community Hub/Grammar School Hall?

It was lovely to see January’s article in the Kibworth & District Chronicle about volunteering.

Kibworth Mead Academy continues to be a vibrant hub of activity, welcoming a diverse range of groups and events that bring the community together. Now partnering with ‘Schools Plus’, the academy is providing affordable venue hire while generating valuable funds to enhance its facilities and student resources.

For our article, this month we are focusing on the work of one of our partner agencies – The Bridge (East Midlands)

We are delighted to announce that our CoCo mornings have started up again. Held on the third Wednesday of the month between 10.30am and 12.00pm. It was really lovely to see so many people joining us. As the weather improves and we can once again use our beautiful little garden, I am sure we will see many more people from the surrounding villages joining us, either as they take a ‘doggy walking’ stop or just decide to pop in for free refreshments!
