Followers of The Kibworth Band Facebook page will have noted Ted Smith died in early November 2024. He was one of Kibworth’s characters. He was Kibworth Band personified and ran their 200 Club.

What is a Patient Participation Group?

Kibworth Harcourt Conservation Group will be holding a Christmas Tree Lighting Celebration on Saturday 7 December, at 6.30pm outside The Old House in Kibworth Harcourt with kind permission of Steve Langan.

Last month I drew attention to the onset of the autumn migration and birds that might be (and subsequently have been) seen in September. “Most years a redstart is seen in a garden somewhere locally”. I almost got that spot on. Two redstarts were seen in a hedge an easy walking distance from where I live, unfortunately, not by me.
