Appearing in Kibworth and, I am told Fleckney yellow notices with the phrase "Twenty is plenty" Twenty what? Yards, Metres, Inches, Feet. Not a clue! Waste of money. Waste of space.

I would like to thank the correspondent for their recent letter to the Kibworth & District Chronicle.

I would be interested to learn if anyone else has experienced the same as I have during my recent visits to the Cemetery on the A6 in Kibworth.

I was sad to hear of the passing of Betty when I read the article today (26 June) on the Chronicle’s website. Betty was my neighbour for a good couple of years, and as her obituary stated she was forthright in some opinions but we also had some good laughs as well.

I have been monitoring the water level in a deep well in my garden in Smeeton Westerby and would like to compare my results with local daily rainfall data. Do you know if there is anyone in the Kibworth area who may have local rainfall data?
