For over 30 Years my wife and I have been part of a group of UK individuals providing support to disadvantaged individuals in Uganda. Initially, we were involved with a charity (Friends of ACET Uganda) which provided AIDS/HIV Care, Education and Training. Subsequently becoming involved in rebuilding and supporting this school in a slum area of the capital, Kampala.

The Year Four team are incredibly proud of all the children, who worked extremely hard both on and off stage. In just a few weeks, they managed to produce an amazing show and dazzle the audience at three packed out showings.

Leicester High School for Girls proudly celebrated International Women's Day last week with an event showcasing the diverse achievements of women across various fields. In December, Foundation Stage went to Curve to watch ‘The Owl Who Came for Christmas’. Over the last few weeks, the children learned all about the story and wrote sentences about Rosie the Owl. The children were so excited to see the story come to life. It was a fantastic production and the children thoroughly enjoyed it. We were all so proud of the children’s excellent behaviour in their first school trip.
