We are proud to present an evening of music starring world-renowned soprano singer Denise Leigh. Denise has performed for the royal family, including our late queen, at several venues including the Royal Albert Hall and Kensington Palace. She gave a solo performance at the opening ceremony of the 2012 London Olympics. She has featured on many programmes including ‘BBC Proms in the Park’, ‘Friday Night is Music Night’ and ‘Songs of Praise’. Leigh has also performed with orchestras such as the Royal Philharmonic and London Handel Players. She will be supported on the evening by her husband, Stefan Andrusyschyn, playing the keyboard and accordion.

Cheese and Charcuterie Tasting Day

Join Bridge 67 Butchers on Saturday 3 December at the Cookery School on Debdale Lane in Smeeton Westerby. From 10am-3pm we will hold a cheese and charcuterie tasting day.  There will be a fantastic range of British cheeses and charcuterie for you to try, plus a great selection of chutneys, breads, pork pies, and sausage rolls to provide some inspiration for the Christmas season. The oven and hob team will be serving their delicious cakes together with coffee from Penny’s Vintage Coffee Bar. So, pop the date in your diary, text your friends and join us down at the Cookery School for some festive cheer. Last Minute Theatre October 2022

Hello all! By the time you read this, we’ll have had several Pantomime rehearsals under our belts for ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs’. This year, we only have a very small Chorus. All of our ‘little ones’ have grown up and are taking principal parts or have flown the nest and been lost to University, studying, apprenticeships. More mature members moving out of the area, suffering illness or having family commitments.

A Busy Summer at the Club!

During the summer holidays tennis sessions took place at the club for children aged from three to seventeen. It was a great opportunity for some children to try tennis for the first time and for other children to continue playing during the summer holidays. Over 150 children attended the sessions so it was a busy time for Mati and his coaching team!
