We were so delighted to welcome so many people to, not only our first ‘CoCo’ morning but also our ‘Wilder Westerby’ event, that once again we are inviting everyone to join us for Coffee and Conversation (and of course cake!) at Smeeton Village Hall on Wednesday 17 July, 10.30am - 12 noon, when we will also have more information about our wildlife project. Hopefully, this time the sun will be shining and we will be able to sit in our hall’s gorgeous little garden.

Blaston Show - June '24

Running on its usual 'last Sunday in June' date, 30 June. Blaston Show kicks off with a Pre-Show Party on the Friday night, to which anyone can come. The cost is just £5 for adults. Children 12 and under get in for free – as do members and sponsors. There will be food, music, a licensed bar and great company.

Neville Holt Festival 2024

Nevill Holt, near Medbourne, a 13th century Leicestershire estate, is this year celebrating art in all its forms, when scores of famous names and acclaimed productions stop by for its inaugural multi- faceted festival which has expanded its annual opera festival to host music, theatre, art, comedy and fascinating talks with the likes of Andrew Marr, Elizabeth Day, Phil Tufnell and Kristin Scott-Thomas sharing the line-up with Mozart and Max Richter.
