On Wednesday 26 November, the Kibworth Harcourt Post Mill volunteers assisted SPAB employee, Chi Wei Clifford-Frith to install lights on the Mill in preparation for the Christmas season. The lights were installed last year in the customary + formation and could be seen from as far away as Gumley. The Society for the Preservation of Ancient Buildings (SPAB) are the legal owners of the Mill.

It all started withThe Clutter Sale at The Railway which was held in May and was a fantastic success. The road closure didn’t stop the good people of Kibworth and surrounding areas coming down to grab themselves a bargain. Everyone found something they liked, from purchasing a painting of Market Harborough church where a couple got married 25 years ago to children being delighted with becoming new owners of large cuddly toys.

Ludger’s final service at St Wilfrid’s Church took place on Advent Sunday, 30 November, when a full church had the opportunity to say farewell to him and Ruth. A shared lunch followed in the Church Hall, attended by about 100 people.
