On Wednesday 1^st April (not an April fool) the charity, Kibworth Grammar School Hall - also known as Kibworth Community Hub- charity number 1044822 was dissolved and the lease handed back to Kibworth Beauchamp Parish Council.

Between now and July, your garden, favourite park or nature reserve will be alive with fauna. These may have returned from warmer climes, emerged from hibernation, or hatched from pupae. Resident species will have become more active, ready to raise a new generation.

On the third Tuesday of every month, our café becomes a lively hub of conversation, laughter and connection as we host a friendly social group for people aged 60 and over. There’s no need to book – just turn up, grab a drink, and chat away. Hosted by volunteers from Voluntary Action South Leicestershire, the group is designed to bring people together and help reduce social isolation across Kibworth and the surrounding villages.

The Hallaton Museum is getting a new permanent display for 2026. It's at Hallaton Castle, thanks to a grant from the Leicestershire Archaeological and Historical Society’s Public Heritage Fund.

Local residents from across the district attended a pivotal Harborough District Council (HDC) meeting on Monday 16 March to hear the debate and decision on the local plan (2020 – 2041). More than 80 members of the public were at the council offices to witness the decision by the Council who voted by 17 votes to 15, with one abstention, to submit its Local Plan for examination, a decision that exposes deep divisions over a strategy affecting many thousands of residents and the future shape of the district.
