Now nine years on that message is more important to us than ever. It was great to see that so many people are interested to learn about our farming practices, our animal welfare ethos and how we provide sustainable meat through our butcher’s shop in Kibworth. With approximately 600 people attending, we had a fantastic turnout. So much so that I understand that the village of Smeeton Westerby was brought to a stand still. But what a wonderful sight to see, our community coming together to celebrate local food and farming right on our doorstep. For those who attended, we thank you for your support.
