Three days of events took place at St Wilfrid’s to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III. The Church decorated with floral displays. The Hall adorned with bunting, flags and balloons ready to screen the service at Westminster Abbey on Saturday 6 May. Watched by a small group who enjoyed the historic ceremony with refreshments.

The Coronation Service will take place on the morning of Saturday, 6 May at Westminster Abbey. St Wilfrid’s Church Hall will be open if people would like to come together to watch the televised service. The times are due to be announced soon.

On Friday 3 March, Kibworth was part of a huge wave of prayer encircling the earth for at least 38 hours. It all began at dawn in Western Samoa and Tonga in the Pacific Ocean (when we were listening to the 6pm news on Thursday evening) and ended at dusk in American Samoa (when we were having our Saturday morning breakfast).
