Roll up! Roll up!! It’s time to get your tickets for our Christmas spectacular, ‘Holly Jolly Saves Christmas!’ This fun show will appeal to all ages, from the very young to the … well, more mature!

September 12 was our first meeting after our summer break and Petra Galligan gave us an unusual and practical evening of Sound Therapy. Petra is a violinist and pianist and has been practising Sound Therapy for 13 years.

Our next meeting will be on Thursday 7 November at the Methodist Chapel Hall. Doors open at 2pm for a cup of coffee or tea followed at 2.30pm by a talk given by Angela Holland  

Leicester Sketch Club’s Annual Exhibition celebrates the talents of 100 members for whom painting is a passion. The club meets in and around the county.

There was a knock at my front door today and it was Rosie Jarvis, one of the superb local artists who had exhibited at the inaugural Kibworth Art Fair on 4 and 5 October. She had brought us a ‘thank you’ card. What amazing feedback she gave and a grateful thanks that “fantastic local art was once again being exhibited and sold in Kibworth.”

It's over. We can't believe it. Players are gutted, players knees and aching backs perhaps less so.

Have you ever tried table tennis? If not, what’s the worst that could happen? All are welcome to come and have a go free of charge at this low cost sport. I see youngsters shivering on the football field these evenings. I'm glad that I play an indoor sport which I can enjoy all year round, flooding permitting!
