There was a knock at my front door today and it was Rosie Jarvis, one of the superb local artists who had exhibited at the inaugural Kibworth Art Fair on 4 and 5 October. She had brought us a ‘thank you’ card. What amazing feedback she gave and a grateful thanks that “fantastic local art was once again being exhibited and sold in Kibworth.”

Have you ever tried table tennis? If not, what’s the worst that could happen? All are welcome to come and have a go free of charge at this low cost sport. I see youngsters shivering on the football field these evenings. I'm glad that I play an indoor sport which I can enjoy all year round, flooding permitting!

Kibworth Band - September 2024

Well September has come and we will soon be off to Cheltenham for the National 1st Section Finals. Over the last few weeks we have been working hard in both sectional and full band rehearsals – once again apologies to the residents of Halford Road for the increased traffic – and hope to come away, if not with a prize, then a pride in our performance and representation of the Midlands Area.

Our recent farm walk at Rectory Farm, located alongside the picturesque Eyebrook Reservoir, had to be relocated to the barn due to inclement weather.  However, this did not dampen our spirits as we were treated to an enlightening power-point presentation about the farm’s operations.
