1st Kibworth Scouts are inviting everyone to their new grounds on the edge of Warwick Park and adjacent to the new School Road bridge to participate in a special Tree Planting Day. The event is to take place from 10am onwards on Saturday 16 December, weather permitting. Please bring your own gardening tools to help.

Illston on the Hill WI invited John to speak and demonstrate the hula hooping. This is a talent he famously showcased on ITV’s ‘Britain’s Got Talent’!  Hula hooping has an intriguing history. It dates back to the 14th century when people would use woven branches to create hoops for play and exercise. Today, we’ve come a long way enjoying modern hoops made from lightweight plastic or bamboo that cater to various skill levels and styles.
