On Friday 3March the annual skittles match was held at The Horse and Trumpet in Wigston. Thirty six people took part. The overall winners were the men, narrowly beating the ladies.

The trustees of the hall and the library had a successful meeting on the 15 March to discuss progress on the plans for developing the new Kibworth Hub which will incorporate the library and the hall. There is currently a lot of hard work going into writing applications for funds.

A new group is starting on Thursday 13 April in St. Wilfrid’s Church Hall to support anyone who has been bereaved or suffered loss.

Our Warm Space, residency at Kibworth Grammar School Hall at 12noon - 2pm on Monday lunchtime is rapidly coming to an end. This will be the second of the eight-week events. The last date for the Welcome Kitchen will be Monday 27 February. Our friend, Karen Bevan from the Co-op, will be providing a Fair Trade chocolate tasting session, as it is ‘Fair Trade Fortnight’.

Walking over the Grammar School Bridge there is graffiti sprayed onto the floor. What does it mean? Is it part of the electrification of the Midland Main Line? This is coming along in leaps and bounds judging by the number of stanchions one can see from the A6 as you travel towards Market Harborough.
