Leicestershire Wildlife Hospital will be holding their monthly Coffee Morning and Table Top Sale in Kibworth Village Hall from 10am - 12.45pm. Dogs welcome.

We are so pleased with how our group continues to grow, and we think the members of the group are a fabulous bunch of people!

Kibworth station has had a busy start to the year with our appliance being mobilised 21 times during January. Some notable incidents include; a road traffic collision on the A6 (Great Glen) roundabout, domestic property fire, car fire and a chimney fire.

Our February meeting began with a service in Church followed by a get together in the Church Hall. The meeting was very well attended. After sharing news and notices members listened to a talk by Andy Wright, Operations Manager, The Well.

When I first moved to the village in 1988, a letter appeared in the Chronicle. A lady requested people stop phoning the police when her husband went for a walk. Yes, you’ve guessed, he was British, but not white enough for some. Has Kibworth become better or worse since then in terms of community cohesion?
