At our last meeting, Illston on the Hill WI had something to get the little grey cells working: ‘Help with Technology’. Our speaker was Mitchell Burnell from Billesdon. This was a fascinating talk. And it was horrifying to note how little we knew about the difference with iPhones and Android! As well as why everything is sent up to the ‘cloud’. As this was mentioned, we all looked up to the sky! Did we know our Apple or Google account details – do you? It was a revelation to find that WhatsApp is part of a social media platform.

We are delighted to announce that our CoCo mornings have started up again. Held on the third Wednesday of the month between 10.30am and 12.00pm. It was really lovely to see so many people joining us. As the weather improves and we can once again use our beautiful little garden, I am sure we will see many more people from the surrounding villages joining us, either as they take a ‘doggy walking’ stop or just decide to pop in for free refreshments!
